‘PURE and SIMPLE’, that’s how ‘Architectural Digest’ describes The Barn House in their ‘Winter Magic’ Edition. (December 2011)
The Holm Residence in New York’s – Upper East Side got featured in ‘Mahattan’s Fashion and Home Issue’. The five-story Carnegie Hill townhouse was given the title ‘The Vertical Limit’ by its narrow but long shape. The modern luxury magazine included multiple pictures combined with an interview with architect Francis d’Haene as well. (March/April 2011)

Check out the November issue of Interior Design, featuring an apartment in Paris that was done by d’apostrophe. The stately mansion in its former life were offices for French civil servants. D’apostrophe restructured and combined two floors, for a gallery like residence, featuring the clients art collection.

Francis D’Haene, a NY based Belgian architect and principal of d’apostrophe design, inc. has been selected as a recipient of Interior Design Magazines prestigious BEST OF YEAR Award. The winning project was the transformation of a barn into a 5300 sq. ft. second home in Remsenburg, NY. Created for one of the founders of the Le Pain Quotidian restaurants, D’Haene and his team re-engineered the whole structure. By knocking down interior walls and adding a sleek central staircase they were able to create a clean contemporary interior. A true blend of the purest elements of a minimalist, modern style and an authentic rustic aesthetic.
Interior Design’s July issue included The Barn-House is Remsenburg, New York. They boxed it as very ‘un-hamptons’-like but well-balanced between old and new. (July 2010)
‘Calm, Cool and Collected’ are the 3 keywords for the house in Bridgehampton, New York which d’Apostrophe designed for an art dealer and a movie producer. It got featured in the Interior Design Magazine in March 2008.
The renovation at 150 Nassau Street in NYC (client: Mr Van Praet) was published in the ‘Weekend Knack’ which is an established Belgian weekly lifestyle magazine. The space is described as a luxurious bachelorpad with an extroardinary view and an amazing art collection harmoniously integrated in the new interior. (January 2008)
